Usually this test is conducted soon after the intermediate exams. Normally the intermediate exams are held in May while ECAT date sheet is announced in mid July or August. Every year UET maintains these exams. Exams are prepared from FSc syllabus and other equivalent to it like pre-medicated with major subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students who have passed B. Tech, FSC, BSC and DAE are eligible to appear in the ECATexams conducted at UET.
